 Carpool Instructions

 

 

NEW COBB DOT SIGNS AT QUAIL HOLLOW 
 
As you know, we recently shared the update regarding Windsor Oaks and the new No Student Drop-Off or Pick-Up signs that were added. We have now been informed that similar signs have been added at the Quail Hollow subdivision.  Similar to Windsor Oaks, they have concerns regarding parents parking at the entrance of the neighborhood, double parking, speeding, and blocking streets.
 
Due to these issues, the neighborhood worked with the Cobb DOT and new signs prohibiting student drop off and pick up have been added to their neighborhood as well. They were told these signs will be enforced and the DOT will begin ticketing people parking in these areas. 

The signs are located at the entrance on Cedar Knoll and Quail Circle.
 Please refrain from parking in this area during pickup hours.  These measures are in place to keep our students safe and avoid unsafe traffic. Thank you for your help in addressing these concerns. 
 
 

 

Locker Information

As the 2021-2022 school year ended, all East Cobb Middle Schools made the decision to start this school year without the use of lockers.  Over the past couple of years, schools have noticed many unexpected benefits of not using lockers. Please see the attached document that outlines the benefits of not using lockers, as well as strategies to help address backpack concerns such as the ability to use rolling backpacks.
