A Letter From Our Mabry PTSA President
On behalf of the Mabry Middle School PTSA, welcome to CHARGER NATION! We are looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year for our Mabry Family.
We are excited to have you joining our school community of the best students, parents, teachers, and staff you can imagine. If you are a first-time middle school parent, the transition from elementary school to middle school may seem overwhelming. PTSA is here to ease that transition by being your go-to resource for school information. Make sure you are following us on Facebook and Instagram, and have signed up for our weekly newsletter. These communication channels are your way to stay up to date on all information related to the school, not just PTSA information and events.
If you haven’t already, please consider joining the Mabry MS PTSA today HERE. Membership is open to parents, students, teachers, grandparents, partners in education, sponsors, as well as others from the community who want to help our school. We hope you will consider buying a membership package or making a one-time donation to help us fund all the ways we impact the school. Mabry PTSA puts on events throughout the school year such as the Spring Social, Movie Night, Teacher mini-grants, Fun Run, Field Days, Grade-level incentives and rewards, 8th grade picnic and dance, plus so much more. Mabry PTSA is focused on its mission, which is… to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families. Every child. One voice. Therefore, our goal is to continue to offer all events free of charge for all students and not have to charge for attendance.
But we can’t do it without you!
Instead of having to charge students to attend events, or holding traditional fundraisers
throughout the year, Mabry MS PTSA asks each family to make a donation to the PTSA. We don’t want to ask the students to sell products or discount cards that take away from the fundraising of other school organizations and booster clubs. This is the only time we will be asking for money and best of all, the donation is tax-deductible!
Additionally, parent volunteers are always welcome. Don’t believe the myth that parents are no longer wanted in middle school! We have many opportunities to help and ask you to take a moment to see where you might be able to volunteer your time and your talent to our Mabry Family. Our goal is to get EVERYONE involved. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering and check the Mabry Middle School PTSA eBlast or Facebook page often to review the many volunteer opportunities. You can also sign up to help on our website HERE.
We are looking forward to a fabulous year! We have a lot of fun things planned and are eager to get started.
Let’s have a great year and achieve our mission together!
Many thanks,
Elizabeth Wentz and Christine Kim
